At the time of designing structures up to date, density and magnitude load have increased, requirements for regulation also become more stringent. To ensure essential requirements, especially mechanical resistance stability, numerical modelling structure is carried out according current regulations. Due various assumptions, idealization, discretization, parameterizations that are introduced modelling, obtained model may not always reflect actual structural behavior. It known these a hidden can be determined by combining experimental investigations (static or/and dynamic tests) finite element updating methods minimize differences between predicted This paper provides review FEMU process used summarizes approach help future engineers select appropriate method solving some discussed issues.
